Stronger's cookies

Stronger uses the cookies on this website, for the following purposes:

  • To properly enable content via Facebook
  • To show recommendations to the user if they have already visited the site
  • To enable the AddThis social sharing site JavaScript on the client-side in order to make sure the user sees the updated count if they share a page
  • Stronger also uses AdWords for conversion tracking and retargeting. These are 3rd part cookies with 90 days and 2 years' lifetime.

Stronger uses Google Analytics to analyze the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users' computers. The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of the website. In short, these are the tasks performed by Google cookies:

  • Distinguish unique users

This Privacy Policy describes the personal data that Stronger AB, co. reg. no. 556981-4121, Linnégatan 89 E 6TR, 115 23 Stockholm (“we” or “us”) processes in the capacity of Personal Data Controller as a result of your approval as a news subscriber.

We hope you’ll have a better idea of how we process your personal data after having read this policy. What personal data do we collect and how is it used?

Below, we describe the legal basis we apply (such as the fulfillment of an agreement or legitimate interest), for what purposes the data is used, what personal data we may process and how long it is stored. To fulfill our agreement with you, we process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To view your order and purchase history.
  • Manage personal benefits and offers and communicate these to you.
  • Send event invitations and information regarding relevant promotions.

For the above purposes, we’ll e.g. process your name, email address, telephone number, address, as well as your order and purchase history. As it is in our legitimate interest to do so, we process your personal data to:

analyze and coordinate all information that appears in your order and purchase history, as well as other data you’ve provided or entered, such that we can adapt our benefits and offers to you.

As we carry out the above processing on the basis of our legitimate interest, you always have the right to object to such processing by contacting us as outlined above. The personal data processed within the framework of the purposes stated above is stored for the period of 2 years and deleted within 15 days after your account has been closed.

Who do we share your personal data with?

In order for us to be able to provide your personal information as a news subscriber, we need the help of other companies. This means that, in certain cases, on our behalf and following our instructions, such companies will process your personal data. In relation to us, these then constitute Personal Data Processors. This concerns services such as:

  • Marketing – e.g. handling of mailing lists and SMS texts
  • IT services – such as companies that handle any necessary operations, technical support and maintenance of our website and of the underlying infrastructure of our website.

When we receive help from Personal Data Processors, these companies, themselves or through subcontractors, could be both within and outside the EU/EEA. These so-called third countries, may have legislation that differs from EU/EEA data protection regulations. This means that, in the case of transfers to such third countries, we’ll take appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data is protected. Your rights

When contacting us in a manner outlined above, you have the right to request that:

  • We provide you with information regarding what personal data we process about you and how it’s used.

  • The processing of your personal data should be limited.
  • In certain cases, your personal data be transferred in electronic format (in accordance with so-called data portability rights).

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, by opting out of direct marketing, for example. To protect your privacy and your personal data, we may require that you identify yourself in connection with you contacting us. You can also submit a complaint to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection if you believe that our processing of your personal data is not taking place in accordance with applicable law.
